The Alleycats are a 50s style rock'n'roll band, playing jive, rockabilly & rhythm'n'blues. Their dance orientated repertoire includes a great cross section of the the classic hits from the era, including jivers, boppers, strollers & smoochers. The 6-piece lineup of tenor sax, piano, guitar, bass, drums and featured vocalist cover Elvis, Bill Haley, Little Richard, Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Dion & the Belmonts and a host of others with authentic ease, whilst managing to inject a modicum of fun. With so many songs at their disposal, they can bias their set either towards hard rockin' or a more swing/jive orientated feel. Coupled with their great tuxedo stagewear, this versatility means they're equally at home in rock'n'roll clubs, modern jive venues, 50s themed functions or even a cabaret setting.
