Pink Side of the Moon are the best Pink Floyd tribute band from the South East of England. The band is a five piece affair, and they pride themselves on producing a sound that is as close to that of Pink Floyd as is possible, adding little nuances that other tribute bands seem to forget. Vocals are done by Dan and is backed up by the rest of the band. Jools (Dave Gilmour look-a-like!!!!) and Dan, yes the singer, play guitar, both play lead and rhythm. On bass is Bassbuns. Keyboards and computers are mastered by the "exiled lab rat". Drums are hammered on by Simon. Bassbuns and Simon studied at the A.C.M. (Academy for Contempory Music) in Guildford. Bassbuns being taught by Paul Geary who is Nick Kershaw's bass player. So quality performances are almost assured. The band gigs mainly in the South East but have started to play across the country, having played some favourable gigs in the Midlands and North of the country and are returning again. This is a Pink Floyd tribute that you should not miss, they do not use backing tapes or sequenced tracks, computers are used for sound effects and the projection system. They have their own P.A. if needed and lighting rig.
