The Longest Day have quickly become a force to be reckoned with, taking strong influences from wide sources, they combine contemporary rock music with hints of the Seattle grunge scene that inspired their generation. Utilising each band members differing tastes they have produced meaningful heartfelt songs with catchy hooks and powerful lyrics.
They've been described as a fusion between bands like Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam with acts such as Linkin Park, Incubus and Evanescence.
The five members of the band, Dan Henry (Vocals and guitar), Rich Lucas (Synths and samples), Ross Thompson (Bass and backing vocals), Tom Vallely (Drums) and Wyxe (Lead guitar), each share intense determination and passion for the material and bring something fresh and individual to the band.
