Here, the holy trinity of the blues three piece is worshipped. Jeckel and Hyde vocals where angelic falsetto rips into a screaming growl, and a seam bursting bass line is locked in by the whip crack drums. The guitar, greasy and keen, shakes the cage and when released the boogie turns to rock and grit. We’ve been sneaking the boogie out of the early seventies (ZZ Top, little feat, Canned Heat) and dragging the heavy shit out of the nineties (but without yah-yah screaming) and now we mud it up... Based in Nottingham the band is aching to be seen. Old Basford can cut the stage with the best of them. The tune is aggressive, the singing is high. Like a lizard in the beak, you'll uncontrollably shake. Go and see Old Basford, they need more prey.
